Lily Gordon, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
About Me
I am passionate about helping individuals feel supported and make meaningful changes in their lives. During times of uncertainty and transition, you may be trying to balance so much – work, school, childcare, relationships, and everyday worries and stressors. Who wouldn’t be overwhelmed? Whatever life challenge you’re struggling with, I am here to listen with patience, empathy, and a nonjudgmental ear. I work collaboratively with individuals in areas such as life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, parenting support, interpersonal relationships, work-life balance issues, trauma, and maternal mental health.
My Approach
As a bilingual clinical social worker, I work with adolescents and adults in both English and Spanish. Using a trauma-informed lens and strengths-based approach, I incorporate aspects of different therapeutic modalities and practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. I strive to create a trusting environment in which you feel safe to explore feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I enjoy helping clients set realistic goals, find patterns in ways of thinking or acting, build connections and insight, and try new strategies to cope and overcome obstacles. Prioritizing your mental health can be hard, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to accompany you on your personal journey.
