What did you expect your parenting experience to look like?
How closely does your life presently match those expectations?
Becoming a parent can be one of the most unique, terrifying, beautiful, and difficult challenges. Whether you are a biological, adoptive, step, grand, or chosen parent, growing into the role involves many feelings and big decisions. By gaining important insights and learning new skills, you can help your children reach their potential while you reach yours as a parent.
Having a strong support network helps. Understanding your parenting influences and blindspots, the attachment styles of both you and your child, while skillfully navigating parenting challenges (such as difficult behaviors, sleep issues, social concerns) can make a huge difference.
Our mission is to provide parenting support and education to parents and families so you can feel confident in your abilities when raising your children. Parenting stress areas that we frequently address include learning how to increase proactive parenting and decrease reactive parenting, creating positive communication, learning to empower your children while being clear and confident about your own parental boundaries, developing effective communication skills, increase skill and confidence in parenting strategies and techniques, improving conflict resolution skills within the family, and understanding how to manage your child’s technology usage in a healthy way.
