About Me
I believe in a person's capacity for growth and ability to find satisfaction and meaning. My goal is to help you increase self-acceptance, change relational patterns, communicate more effectively, shift perspective, improve emotional regulation, and develop adaptive coping strategies. By focusing on your inherent strengths, we can better recognize and modify unhelpful mindsets, relationship patterns, and behaviors.
My Approach
My hope is to foster a strong bond with you and to allow our connection to support the work that we do together. Therefore, my approach is practical, solution focused, and collaborative in nature. I work with child, adolescent, and adult clients who are seeking therapy for emotion and relationship-based challenges, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, assertiveness, college adjustment, life transitions, stress management, sexuality/identity, social anxiety, parenting, and relationships.
In addition, I provide evidence-based therapy to women and families throughout pregnancy and postpartum, exploring feelings related to childbirth, managing personal and societal expectations, and developing coping skills when adjusting to the new role of motherhood.
