About Me

I believe in meeting individuals where they are at and supporting them in achieving resiliency. By taking a compassionate and genuine approach, my goal is to help you feel understood and supported. Through collaboration, our work will focus on gaining awareness into patterns and dilemmas, and using your fundamental strengths to lead a meaningful life and cope with the stressors that inevitably come with it.

My Approach

I am dedicated to helping others feel more confident being themselves and navigating life. A flexible and integrative approach is crucial in order to support you and your individualized needs. My therapeutic approach is guided by psychodynamic theory, but I draw on a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), interpersonal, self-compassion and mindfulness based interventions. A main focus of my work is to maintain an empathic, warm, and non-judgmental approach as the complex pieces of your story are shared over time. I find that humor and authenticity are crucial to cultivating a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

I have worked with individuals across the lifespan and have experience with a wide range of issues, but not limited to interpersonal relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school and college related concerns, assertiveness, life transitions, LGBTQ+ related concerns, identity related concerns, trauma, and attentional difficulties. I have specific interests in working with children, adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress. I enjoy supporting these individuals in building coping skills, practicing effective communication and boundary setting skills, incorporating self-compassion into their daily lives, and recognizing their own resiliency capabilities.
